90's Nostalgia

I dont understand why this new generation is so damn nostalgic! Kids born in the 90s, are obsessed with the 90's. I think us older cats (did I just call myself older?!?!) have pinned the youngins in a corner. So many creative types and music junkies yearn "for the way things used to be" so much that its gotten young folks all confused and desperate for that same feeling. It's too early for all that.

Know what I think... older nostalgic-able dudes, keep reminding us but don't require people to obey. Younger dudes, do your job by building spaceships and creating fresh shit! (for real fresh shit, like new fresh shit, not 1983 "fresh" ) Now the two of you stay in your corners and do ya thing. -18aC

Back when I damn near lived in Arcadia Studios, I was approached by a super cool chick named Carson. I don't know if she knew me in advanced or just decided it on site, but she pulled me in on a documentary regarding the exploding art scene in St. Louis. The video hits a wide range of artists and hotshots in the city. Get your popcorn!

When I first heard this track It caught me off guard! It was my first time hearing M.O.P. but I knew I wasn't the only lil dude getting hype off this. Funny how Sesame St. worked the same way. As a youngin I wasn't buzzing about the street, but later on I figured out how big it was...just like M.O.P.

Screwed In/Enoch Magazine

Enoch Mag was in town (STL) shooting for Less Than Jake who played at the Pageant, across the street from The Regional Arts Commission. Some how they stumbled upon us working on the Screwed In installation, must have been the profanity & booze. Either way they put together a damn solid video for us. Check it out. I was absent that day, but the boys still held it down.
